Jake Gyllenhaal comes from a family of hollywood actors and directors, literally. He is the son of director Stephen Gyllenhaal and screenwriter Naomi Foner and younger brother of actress Maggie Gyllenhaal. Jacob Benjamin Gyllenhaal as he was named at birth has a massive fan following who like to call themselves 'Gyllenhaalics'. He first wowed audiences in the mysterious movie "Donnie Darko". A series of stints in "Bubble Boy", "the Good Girl" and "The Day After Tomorrow" later came his second calling in the form of the controversial "Brokeback Mountain" which became an award magnet.
