About Laura Vandervoort
Laura Vanderwoot, the girl who plays supergirl in the TV series Smallville, is the grand-daughter of hockey legend Fred Sanger. She has appeared in several TV shows to date including Mutant X, Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye and The Dresden Files but her big break comes in the seventh season of Smallville where she plays Kara / Supergirl.
