Plot: Based upon a comic book series by Gotham Chopra, Bulletproof Monk takes place during Hong Kong's transfer to Chinese control in 1999. A refugee travels to San Francisco to find a kung fu master, played by Chow Yun-Fat, to help save his family from government oppression.
