Rain, rain, go away...and take that psycho killer with you, too. John Cusack, Ray Liotta and a half-dozen others get stranded in a fleabag motel in the midst of a driving rainstorm, and a murderer wants to help them check out. Soon, the first head is spotted rolling around in a dryer, and director James Mangold (Girl, Interrupted) ratchets up the drama. Thankfully, he goes light on the gore and violence but turns this into a character-driven whodunit. We learn about everyone's strengths and weaknesses through well-placed and informative flashbacks, all the while waiting for the next head to, um, roll. Identity will appeal to both horror aficionados and those looking for a good mystery. Make your reservation now.
