Based on a true story, this film follows rising journalistic star Stephen Glass, who contributed to Rolling Stone and was a staff writer for The New Republic at the tender age of 25. It was later discovered that Glass had broken the basic tenets of journalism, inventing quotes, sources, and even complete stories. Of the 41 stories he wrote during his three years at the Republic, he invented parts or all of 27 of them. |
