Still pissed about Little Nicky? Well, this return to classic Sandler shtick will calm you down. The Mr. Deeds dude plays a meek executive assistant who is accidentally sent to anger-management classes. And that's a good thing, since it allows him to enlist a cast of nut jobs to pump up the bizarre humor. (A standout showing by classmate John Turturro once again proves that he should be in every comedy from here on out.) As Sandler's frustrating doctor, Jack Nicholson goes along for the ride and embraces the wackiness with an arsenal of crazy looks and diabolical wit. There are even plenty of nods to the East Coast for traditional Sandler fans and a lesson about standing up for yourself. So, just sit back, relax and enjoy this mental-health job well done.
