Filming on the latest installment of the Harry Potter franchise has continued just a day after the Hogwarts Express caught fire. The train, which ferries young wizards back and forth from the magical academy in The Prisoner Of Azkaban, caught alight in the Scottish highlands and quickly spread across 100 acres of moorland on Saturday. However, the filmmakers refused pleas from locals and the authorities to postpone resuming filming, as they did not want any further delays. Divisional fire officer Calum Munro says, "I spoke to the filmmakers and they insisted they were going to continue filming even though we made it clear to them and the train operators our view about filming continuing." Warner Bros, the film giant behind the spellbinding children's saga, could now face legal action because they were warned before filming began that the area was vulnerable to such an incident because the Scottish heather covering the moor was tinder dry. It took a helicopter dropping water bombs on the flame-engulfed area to stifle the blaze in Glenfinnan, near Fort William. One onlooker says, "It was out of control quite quickly. Only the helicopter really helped."
