After turning producer, actress Pooja Bhatt has now decided to wield the directorial baton too. Her debut film titled Paap, starring John Abraham and a new girl, will roll in a couple of months. In an earlier interview, a few months ago she had expressed her desire to direct in these very columns. A change of climate has led to her debut faster than expected. "I wanted to produce a film similar to Roman Polanski's Frantic. The film is about a married couple who land in an alien nation and the wife gets kidnapped. The film was to be directed by Amit Saxena. But now it is summer in Europe. I want to shoot it in Moscow in the cold where one can get the feel of the now-defunct Iron Curtain. But I will have to wait till such hostile environment gets into Moscow. That would mean I have to wait till November," says Pooja. Paap, written by Mahesh Bhatt, is said to be a passionate love story set between the bylanes of Kolkata and the serene monasteries of the north-east.
