Ecstatic father Michael Douglas went on a very special shopping trip yesterday to pick out his newborn daughter's first present from her doting daddy. Baby Carys is the recipient of a exquisite diamond crucifix necklace that her Traffic star father bought from swanky Manhattan jewelry Fred Leighton. And mom Catherine Zeta-Jones wasn't left out. Proud Michael picked out a matching item for her too. One onlooker in the shop says, "Michael was like a kid in a sweet shop - he looked really excited and very proud. He took his time find the perfect necklaces. They were absolutely stunning and price was obviously no object. Once he had paid for them he nearly ran out of the shop and clearly couldn't wait to be with his family."
