It's official. Bollywood star Karisma Kapoor will tie the knot with Delhi-based businessman Sanjay Kapoor in October in Mumbai.



"We propose to have the marriage around Dusshera," Karisma's father Randhir Kapoor said. He added: "We will not be having an engagement ceremony."



Randhir said the wedding ceremony would be a traditional one.



"The wedding is an arranged one. Both Karisma and Sanjay have known each other but the alliance has been fixed with the help of common friends," he clarified.



"As a father, I am both very excited and happy. She has had a very successful career so far and I wish her all the success in her marriage as well," he added.



Earlier, Karisma had split with Amitabh Bachchan's son Abhishek Bachchan after announcing their engagement at a party held to celebrate the Big B's 60th birthday..
