Actor John Stamos has signed up to replace Antonio Banderas in the acclaimed Broadway musical Nine. Beginning October 7, Stamos, married to X-Men beauty Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, will take over as Guido Contini, the film director obsessed with women in the Tony-winning stage revival at New York's Eugene O'Neill Theatre. The 40-year-old actor has appeared in several Broadway musicals, replacing Matthew Broderick in the revival of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying and starring as the master of ceremonies in the long-running Roundabout Theatre Company production of Cabaret at Studio 54.
