25-year-old Nick Papac, an assistant propmaster, was fatally injured on the set of the Peter Berg-directed Middle East-set thriller "The Kingdom" starring Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Garner says The Hollywood Reporter.

Part of the film is being shot in the far eastern part of metropolitan Phoenix on the Loop 202 Freeway. Just after shooting ended Saturday, Papac was driving an all-terrain vehicle on the freeway, which has been closed to the public.

He crashed the golf-cart-like vehicle into a sport utility vehicle carrying director Berg, according to a press release from officials with the movie. After paramedics with Universal Pictures/Forward Pass attended to Papac, he was airlifted to a local hospital, where he died a few hours later from severe head injuries.
